We are members of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance, Baby Loss Awareness Alliance, Baby Feeding Law Group and the European Doula Network and are invited to attend national level meetings to improve maternity care with partners who share our aims including; Make Birth Better, Sands, 1001 Days, The Motherhood Group, White Ribbon Alliance, Best Beginnings, Birthrights, AIMs and Royal College of Midwives.
Doula UK is engaging with various organisations to more effectively achieve our goals including:
Strengthening and nurturing our existing partnerships
Actively cultivating new partnerships and exploring opportunities to engage
In 2024 we provided input into the Parliamentary Birth Trauma inquiry
Collaborating with the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) on the RE:Birth project
In 2024 we contributed to the Birth Experience Study (BESt-UK)
Working with White Ribbon Alliance on the Maternity Inequality Scoring Tool (MIST)
Involved in the NMC Unregulated People Providing Maternity Care project.
